In der Nacht von gestern auf heute haben die Entwickler von Diablo 4 die Patchnotes für das erste größere Update zu Lord of Hatred veröffentlicht. Dieser Patch soll bereits am 13. Mai 2026 erscheinen und allen Plattformen zeitgleich zur Verfügung stehen. Auch wenn dieses Update keine größeren Neuerungen beinhaltet, so fällt es aber trotzdem recht umfangreich aus und dürfte die Spielerfahrung der Community stark verbessern.

Der Fokus dieses kommenden Updates liegt nämlich vollständig darauf, eine Vielzahl von grundlegenden Problemen und Bugs mit Lord of Hatred zu korrigieren. Die Patchnotes listen eine Vielzahl von Fehlerbehebungen für Kriegspläne, Talismane und den Horadrischen Würfel auf. Dazu kommen viele Korrekturen für Klassenfähigkeiten, die bisher nicht wie gewünscht funktioniert haben. Als Teil dieser Maßnahme erhalten die deaktivierten Fähigkeiten für Jäger, Geistgeborene und Zauberer auch ihren „Nerf“ und werden wieder aktiviert.

Tatsächliche Neuerungen aus dem Patch limitieren sich auf neue Komfortfunktionen für gewisse lästige Spielelemente. Mit dem Update erhalten Talismane einen neuen Soundeffekt und ein eigenes Symbol auf der Karte, sodass Spieler gedroppte Items dieser Art leichter bemerken können. Zusätzlich dazu werden das Echo des Hasses und das Echo von Mephisto jetzt in der Gruppensuche aufgeführt, mehrere Tooltips wurden verbessert und eine neue Teleportfunktion für Kriegspläne wurde eingeführt.

Game Updates

Talisman

  • Set Charms now play a Unique drop sound to make them easier to notice.
  • Set Charms now use a distinct minimap icon to improve visibility.
  • Updated the tooltip for the Rogue’s Nilfur’s Narrow Eye Talisman 3-Piece Set Bonus to clarify that receiving all its bonuses is contingent upon Vengeance being active.
  • Druid
    • Storm Shephard’s 5-Piece Set Bonus now stacks with the damage bonus from the 2-Piece Set Bonus instead of overriding it.
    • Storm Shephard’s 2-Piece Set Bonuss now increases the damage of all Storm Skill damage while the buff is active instead of only the Storm Skill that consumed the Spirit.
    • Storm Shephard’s 2-Piece Set Bonus maximum bonus has been reduced from 75% to 40% to compensate for granting all Storm Skill damage instead of only the triggering Storm Skill.
    • Mark of the Old Wolf now includes Damage over Time Multiplier bonuses for its direct damage bonus.
    • Mark of the Old Wolf’s Poisoning damage bonus is now multiplicative instead of additive.

Miscellaneous

  • Echo of Mephisto and Echoing Hatred have been added to the Party Finder.
  • Various loading screen tips have been added to give further information on new features.
  • The tooltip for the Chromatic Tuning Prism has been updated to be clearer that it can target a single Resistance.
  • A new ability to Teleport to an active War Plan has been added. If there is no active War Plan, the player will teleport to Temis. Otherwise, it will teleport the player to the active objective.
