Im Verlauf des gestrigen Abends veröffentlichte Blizzard eine umfangreiche Vorschau auf den in einigen Wochen für Retail WoW erscheinenden Patch 12.1.5. Auch wenn Dinge wie ein neuer Mini-Raid, neue Events und eine neue Kampagne durchaus interessant klingen, so zieht aktuell aber ein anderer Inhalt des Updates die Aufmerksamkeit der Spieler auf sich. Die Entwickler haben nämlich schon verkündet, dass der Patch ein neues AH-Mount mit extrem hohen Goldkosten beinhalten wird.
Dieses Reittier trägt den Namen „Sporebearer Fungal Strider“ und Spieler können es ab 12.1.5 in Harandar für den Preis von 5 Millionen Gold erwerben. Bei dem Mount handelt es sich um einen gewaltigen Pilzdinosaurier, dessen Modell in Midnight bereits häufiger für NPCs verwendet wurde. Ansonsten soll dieses Reittier nur im Verlauf von Midnight im Spiel verfügbar sein. Käufer sollten sich also nicht zu viel Zeit lassen.
Wer den „Sporebearer Fungal Strider“ kauft, der erhält zu Beginn nur einen NPC zum Reparieren und einen Briefkasten. Das Mount ist allerdings modular aufgebaut und Besitzer können die dort vorhandenen Dienste mit anderen Händlern austauschen. Für ein AH-NPC ist allerdings eine weitere Zahlung von 1.5 Millionen Gold und ein Transmogger benötigt einen Aufpreis von 500k Gold. Die Entwickler haben betont, dass noch weitere NPCs für 12.1.5 geplant sind und die in Zukunft auch noch mehr Angebote hinzufügen könnten.

When 12.1.5 releases, you’ll find the Sporebearer Fungal Strider for sale in Harandar for 5 Million gold. This rideable beast will include a mailbox, a repair vendor, and a novel utility – for the first time, players will be able to customize the NPCs who are available on the mount when the mount is summoned.
A vendor in Harandar will sell you access to the additional, interchangeable NPCs, including NPCs such as an auctioneer or a transmogrifier. We’re also considering adding additional mount NPCs in future patches.
Players who collect more NPCs than the mount can hold at a time will be able to switch them in and out by speaking to an NPC in Harandar.
The Sporebearer Fungal Strider mount will only be available for purchase until the end of World of Warcraft: Midnight, however, the purchase of and access to the interchangeable NPCs will remain available indefinitely.
