Emmys 2025: Die diesjährigen Nominierungen sind bekannt

Im September 2025 wird die Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS) zum mittlerweile bereits 77. Mal die Emmy Awards an ausgewählte TV-Shows verleihen. Auf diese Weise sollen herausragende Leistungen in diesem Bereich geehrt und positiv hervorgehoben werden. Am gestrigen Dienstag haben die Verantwortlichen nun auch bekannt gegeben, welche Serien in 2025 für die einzelnen Kategorien der Preisverleihung nominiert wurden und möglicherweise einen Preis erhalten werden.

Als „Sieger“ der Nominierungen kann man mit ziemlicher Sicherheit die Serie „Severance“ von Apple TV+ einstufen. Die zweite Staffel dieser Show konnte sich nämlich beeindruckende 27 Nominierungen sichern. Darauf folgen „The Penguin“ mit 24 Nominierungen und die jeweils mit 23 Nominierungen ausgezeichneten Shows „The White Lotus“, „The Bear“ und „The Studio“. Etwas größer angelegte Shows wie „The Last of Us“ oder „Andor“ haben es nur auf jeweils 16 und 14 Nominierungen geschafft.

Ansonsten sollte erwähnt werden, dass die Emmys scheinbar so langsam die Qualität der Produktionen von Apple TV+ erkennen. Diese Plattform hat in 2025 nämlich rekordverdächtige 81 Emmy-Nominierungen für insgesamt 14 Original-Produktionen erhalten. Diese Zahl ist recht beeindruckend, wenn man bedenkt, dass der Streamingdienst von Apple nicht wirklich zu den großen Spielern der Branche gehört. Trotzdem ist das Angebot von Apple durchaus empfehlenswert.
